Delivery Updates 17th December 2010
We are informed of issues with the current severe weather conditions causing delayed deliveries at this busy time of the year. We have compiled an update to the best of our ability from around the UK.
We are pleased to note, that carriers are still working, though a backlog of deliveries has accumalated in some areas thus, some deliveries may take longer than stated.
Scotland
Deliveries are being made at present but with backlogs.
Worst affected areas are Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Northern parts of Scotland, with 1st Class deliveries taking over 10 days and next day deliveries taking up to 5 – 7 working days
North England
North West counties unaffected at this time whilst North East Counties services are experiencing delays due to the driving conditions with backlogs at all depots.
More severe weather expected this week in the north-East
Wales
North and Mid Wales deliveries are currently going out, some delays due to backlogs.
Midlands
Deliveries seem to be running smooth, though you could see some slight delays
South West
Hampshire & Dorset clear deliveries as normal
